1968 Ferrari 330 GTC (SN 10825)
|
Often referred to as the perfect Ferrari for the perfect gentleman, the 330 GTC has been revered as a truly timeless Ferrari, this being SN 10825. Legendary Ferrari World Champion Phil Hill called the 330 GTC "the best road going Ferrari ever built."
Ferrari produced only 598 of these coupes between 1966 and 1968. The 330 GTC combines all the finest attributes of the times with a 275 GTB chassis, the powerful 4.0 liter 330 2+2 engine, and the impeccable styling of Pininfarina. The 330 GTC also sports the Superfast nose with the tail of the 275 GTS. It is an extremely elegant car with plenty of room for two passengers. It is often said, "The 330 GTC is a desirable gentleman’s grand touring car which has never lost its ability to please." The V12 engine displaces 3967 cc or 330 cc per cylinder (hence the type number 330 of the car), and fitted with 3 twin-choke Weber carburetors and produced nearly 300 horsepower at 7000RPM. With the front engine V-12 , the torque tube driveshaft, and the rear mounted 5 speed transaxle, this car is one of the most balanced sports cars ever built.
This unbelievable specimen has only covered 23,976 miles in its life, and was sold new in California. We have full documentation for this car all the way back to the original letter to the dealer ordering the car new. SN 10825 is in a incredible state of condition, and is a pure joy to drive.
It still retains nearly all of its original paint, and has its original interior, carpets, trim , etc..
This could very well be the most original lowest mileage GTC on the planet. This car would be impossible to replicate. This GTC also has full tool roll, jack, books, and pouches, and they are all original to the car. This 330 is also equipped with factory A/C and the optional Borrani wire wheels. It has been the recent benefactor of a full carburetor rebuild and full major service, tires, brake system rebuild, and all suspension bushings, and rubber components. This a true rarity on the open market, and represents a unique opportunity to the discriminating collector who understands and embraces the chance to acquire one of the most original road going front engine Ferraris left in existence.

1966 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8
1960 Austin Healey 3000 MK 1, two-seater SN:HBN7/6682 (UJB140):
|
Built December 14th, 1959, as the first of five factory Works Competition Healey’s prepared for the 1960 Sebring by Geoff Healey and Donald Healey ( as referenced in Geoff Healey’s book “The Story of The Big Healeys“). After trial testing at Silverstone by Jack Sears in UJB 140, (UJB140, UJB141, UJB142, and UJB143) the first four were sent to the U.S. UJB140 was deemed the “P” or practice car thus saved the grueling punishment of the 12 hours of Sebring. The fifth car UJB144 was sent to BMC Canada. After the Sebring race of 1960 all four cars were sold through the BMC dealer network.
July 14th of 1960 UJB 140 (HBN7/6682) was purchased by Richard Ecklund of Buffalo NY and raced under the Ecurie PIP! race team. The team comprised of Richard Ecklund, Bob Deull, and Bob Preibe raced the car in numerous events at Watkins Glen, Dunkirk, and Harewood circuits. In the first two seasons the team compiled a very enviable record with UJB 140, while more importantly, preserving her for future generations. Richard Ecklund last raced UJB 140 at The Glen 500 August 23rd, 1964.
In 1986 with only 20,000 miles on the odometer, Bob Duell purchased the “P” car from his teammate. UJB140 was back on the track again as a far-from-normal Austin Healey 3000.
As a factory entry in 1960, this car obviously had some added enhancements to compliment the stock chassis including strengthening gussets at all suspension points. A light was added to the roof (different color for each car) for nighttime identification. Fourteen leaf springs were added to the suspension as was overdrive to the 4-speed gearbox. A 25-gallon gas tank and Lucas road lamps were also added. The 2995cc engine had a special cam and head , 2 inch SU carbs , and tubular exhaust headers as well. Four wheel disc brakes provided ample stopping power. The hood was opened from an outside release and a leather strap kept the hood in place. A large 5” tach was used so the driver would never lose sight of the engine revs. A special leather-covered racing seat and dash switch configurations made up the changes to the inside. A dual speed wiper motor was also in place to keep the windscreen clear.
The car is a time piece, with all but a few parts as original it is a terrifically preserved and fully competitive piece of Austin Healey history. UJB140 remains much as it raced in the 1960 Sebring, bearing all of the markings of that historical race. This car possesses meticulous historical records and outstanding racing accolades. A true standout in SVRA and a marquee at venues such as Watkins Glen. Believed to be the only originally preserved survivor of the Sebring team, this is a highly desirable collector car. To say this it’s value is appreciating would be an enormous understatement.

1967 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8
|
This 1967 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 (Serial # HBJ8L-41504) was one of 553 limited edition cars in the last year of production marked with a Golden Beige Metallic finish (BG19). Adding to its allure is an incredibly solid and straight chassis & body showing little sign of corrosion or damage. A fantastically preserved piece of Big Healey history, and is quite a remarkable find in such original solid and nearly rust free condition. This may be one of the best preserved original restoration candidates on the planet. The 3000 Mk III was launched in 1963, and remained in production until 1967. The Series BJ8 was the most powerful and luxurious of the big Healeys - with a Walnut veneer dash, wind up windows, and 150 hp. This is the last year of the BJ8's and is the most desirable. With only a handful with this limited edition color being produced, and even fewer surviving today, this could be one of the last unrestored original Golden Metallic Beige cars left.
Extensive historical documentation and photographs. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire one of the most attractive motorcars the UK has ever made, and one of the last few hundred BJ8’s produced.

The brakes, steering, and suspension have all been completely rebuilt. Also new are the engine and transmission mounts , half shafts, and various other items. An excellent example of Enzo Ferrari’s tribute to his only son Dino , who was tragically stricken and a very young age. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of the Ferrari family legacy. With values creeping in the mid 200s , this car is an excellent value, priced well under that.

1958 Aston Martin DB2/4 MK III Drophead RHD
|
The Final derivative of the DB2 family, sporting a new radiator grille that echoed the styling of its illustrious DB3S racing sibling, it retained the same basic structure as its DB2 and DB2/4 predecessors. Thus, its aluminum bodywork clothed an advanced square-section tubular spaceframe equipped with independent front suspension (a sophisticated trailing link, coil sprung set-up tempered by an anti-roll bar) and a coil-sprung 'live' rear axle (located via Panhard rod assisted radius arms). Redesigned by the brilliant Tadek Marek, its 2922cc dohc straight-six cylinder engine gained a new block assembly, crankshaft, camshafts and manifolds. Reputed to develop some 162bhp and 180lbft of torque, it was mated to a four-speed manual gearbox as standard. Autocar found it capable of 119mph and 0-60mph in 9.3seconds. Girling front disc brakes are also included standard.
This particular example is one of just 85 factory built drophead coupes.
Excellent older restored condition on a very original car. Just out of museum collection. Rare opportunity to acquire an early open Aston.
